Cimahi, Bandung.

Cimahi is a city in West Java Province, Indonesia. This City is located between Bandung Regency and Bandung Regency West. Cimahi were part of Bandung District, which was established as the city administrative on January 29, 1976. On June 21, 2001, Cimahi nominated as the city autonomous region. Cimahi City consists of 3 sub-districts, which is divided into again in the 15 sub-district.

In Sundanese, Cimahi name means "water is quite".  Cimahi began to be known when at the end of 1811, the Governor-General Herman Willem Daendels made the road Anyer-Panarukan, with made checkpoint in the town square Cimahi now. In 1874-1893, carried out roads train Bandung-Cianjur as well as making Cimahi Station. Cimahi City is called as "City Army" because in this city many educational center for the army. At the end of 1935, Cimahi nominated as sub-district. After independence day of the Republic of Indonesia, Cimahi became a part of Bandung Regency America. Starting from June 21, 2001 Cimahi status to city. Now Cimahi became one of the City of Bandung growth area in the west.
