Hong Kong Disneyland Park , located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, is the 11th Theme Park organized by Disneyland International Cooperation. It covers an area of covering about 40 hectares, opened to visitors on 12 September 2005.
Disneyland
Hong Kong is divided into four separate areas just like the American versions:
Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland and Main Street USA. Inside each
section guests find different rides, attractions and shows. They have the
chance to ride the Mad Hatter Teacups and It’s a Small World, or visit with the
characters that roam the streets. Guests can even take their picture with some
of the characters like Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. Disneyland Hongkong
opened at 10.30am-08.30pm.

Hotels
In Hong
Kong, Disney offers two different hotels: the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and
Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. The Hong Kong Hotel has an elegant and old-fashioned
feel, with Victorian decorations and modern amenities including wireless
Internet. The Hollywood Hotel is more for families, with rooms that sleep up to
a family of four. All rooms at the hotel come with a flat-screen LCD TV, and
they offer rooms with views of the park.
Shopping
Shopping at
Disneyland Hong Kong gives guests the chance to find souvenirs to take back
home with them at the end of their trip. They have several different specialty
stores like the Storybook Shoppe, which specializes in the Disney Princesses
and offers dress-up clothes for kids. There’s also Pooh Corner with a large
selection of Winnie the Pooh themed items, and Emporium, which focuses on
Disney themed souvenirs like T-shirts and coffee cups.
